----------------------------- Installation -----------------------------

1) Double click the Setup file (it has an icon of a man holding a
sword on it). Do not use the one with the subtitle "Configuration Settings"
as it won't do anything/it can cause errors in the installation.

2) Choose the destination where you want to install the game to.

3) Choose whether you would like to have the game appear on your start
menu and whether you would like to have the option to uninstall the game.
I advice you include the uninstall option as deleting the files does not
completely remove the game from your system.

4) Click okay and installation will begin. The counter will go up to
1861. Installation should take less than five minutes.

5) Once installation has completed, locate the directory you installed the
game to and find the file named RPG_RT. Double click this file to start
the game (this file will have the same icon as the installation file).

6) The game will start in fullscreen mode, hit F4 to come out of full-
screen mode as the game IS NOT suited to full-screen mode. If you wish
to lower the resolution further, hit F5.

7) ???

8) ENJOY THE GAME!

------------------------------------ FAQ ----------------------------------

Q) The game has a wierd font that I can't read properly. What should I do..?
A) You need to install the RM2K Font Fix. You can find this at:
   http://crankeye.com/downloads/rm2k_fp.exe

Q) The sound isn't playing properly/there is no music.
A) Open the Volume Control for your computer and turn SW Synth up. Some
programs automatically turn this down (such as Media Player and iTunes)
whilst certain media tracks are playing. This game runs using a mostly
soundtrack so the SW Synth needs to be on for the music to play. Sounds
are controlled by the Wave volume switch, so if they aren't playing
properly then turn Wave up (although there is no real reason it should
   ever get turned down).

Q) How do my characters learn skills..?
A) All the characters learn some skills by levelling up. These are passive
skills and are used to lower enemy stats, raise your stats or other such
things. Active skills are learned through individual mechanisms, meaning that
Different characters learn their skills in different ways. Markus and David
require that you find certain items and the process for learning skills from
them is explained in game - so just explore properly. Alexis, on the other
hand, learns skills by scanning enemies that also use the skill. Temp.
characters (i.e. characters whose equipment you can't change) do not learn
   skills.

Q) I opened the menu during a cutscene and the game crashed.
A) This is a bug I fully know about, but creating the work around would mean
going through every event and adding a tag to each end of it. This would be
very time consuming. The menu is disabled in minigames and other such
areas, so just refrain from using it during cutscenes (I know this is a cop-
out, but there isn't much I can do about it.

Q) I am stuck in X area and can't find anything to do, despite talking to
everyone when I entered the area.
A) As your characters gain new information, some NPC dialogue may change. This
will often be due to a quest. If you can't find a way out of a particular
area then try talking to everyone again to see if anyone offers help!

Q) I hate this game.
A) Screw you. :)

----------------------------- Comments/Feedback ---------------------------

If you have any comments/feedback then they would mostly be appreciated on
the RMN (RPGMaker.net) page for this game.

If, for some reason, you cannot access this page, then feel free to e-mail
comments to:

yeehee57@hotmail.com

Alternatively, post/PM me on the RPGMaker.net forums, the Gamingw.net forums
or the RPGRevolution.com forums! My user name is Fallen-Griever on all of these.

The same goes for if you find ANY bugs. Anything at all, however small, I
need to know about so I can fix it. I know for a fact that it is possible to
complete this game without getting the game to crash, but it is impossible
for two beta-testers to comb everything and I really want to make sure
this game is eventually as bug-free as possible. Hopefully it is now, but
we all know that is wishful thinking.

Okay, enough reading for you, play the game and have fucking fun!
